Description

Morning all :o) This was growing in a hedgerow near to my sisters stables .I dont know what it is ,but I love the colour and its shape .Maybe you know Andrea ?.The weather has become atrocious here over the last couple of days .Gales and rain lashing down ,hardly inspiring to go outside .I wanted to go and see if I could get some colourful leave shots but with this wind I doubt there are any left on the trees . My thoughts are with those that lost their lives in the great wars and more so with those that are still serving their countries today in the futile excercises going on in Iraq and Afganistan . Thanks for looking and take care Mick

A beautifully coloured plant and bud Mick, an excellent shot. Its been torrential rain and gales here in the Channel Islands, I do love the rain though!

Wonderful shot and dedication, Mick. They're Spindle berries, Euonymus. The birds love 'em. We had the worst rain I've seen for years here, too.

Beautiful little flowers-nice you could get this shot in that nasty weather. It's raining here as well, though not as bad as you have it. Nice thought about lost lives-way too many.

First of all, a great dedi Mick to those serving and to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. A simple but lovely picture. Yesterday I had planned to go off out on my little lonesome but the conditions prevented me from going. I am glad I puposely saved some bright pics to upload this winter!

This is a beautiful image for sure Mick and I agree with all your words of those who lost their lives in the great wars and those who are putting their lives on the line for us and their families.

I have seen berries like this before but I cannot remember where, it's as though there are three of them welded together. Excellent capture and just right for such a dreary day as today Mick. Bravo!!!!!

Wonderful image! I like the color, but their size seems very tiny. If they are berries, then that must be the reason why. Send the rain over here, to mid-California, for we need it desperately. ;c)
