Hi, I'm Marilyn.  I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile.  It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here.  I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends.  Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time.  Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!!  Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet.  You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long.  Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I am familiar with ballet slippers and stolen baseball gloves. They hang on side by side coathooks like sisters on the landing leading to the basement of the lawyers house. Now fuschia's go with a Ford Cortina and a neighbor who replaced an old man who loved the pomegrantes and had a Ford 4x 4 with the incompatible axle ratios for dirt only.

She needs limber up a bit a she's covered in cobwebs, but I still see her. I always think the same when ours are in bloom Marylin. Ours are long gone though, nothing blooming in the garden now, but then we are still waiting for summer to start here. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

I can't see a thing! I think I'm blinded by the vibrancy! What a macro! What an in-your-face shot!

We used to pick them and make them dance when I was a kid...this ballerina could be seen from the far balcony, I think.... great work!

Vivid, vivid, vivid, but try as I might, and even by squinting my eyes, I must admit truthfully that I see no evidence of tiny ballerinas. If I had, I would have included the lyrics to the song, "Dance, Ballerina, Dance," made famous by Vaughn Monroe, way back when.
