Mark this has such a happy and surreal feel, it is almost like a magical dream. I am down with the flu but had to see your work my friend.

Yes this looks lovely, happy and uplifting alright and I like it. I am glad, if it is how you feel today, Mark. Here we have +50F, but the wind blows and makes it feel colder.

Puts me in mind of maps, these are like terrain elevations on a very colorful quad. Coolness.

Beautiful watercolor, Mark. A healing piece. I hope that you are recovering day by day.

Blooming gently is a great title. It seems that the layers grew slowly as each one waited patiently for the other to finish so that it had plenty of breathing space. Pastels give it an airy, open feeling.

One of the things I like about watercolor artwork is the veiled, hazy quality that the colors take on, and this is a perfect example of what I like; there is a softness here, a gentleness that is immediately appealing. The breaks of gray and black are stunning and give a somewhat different take on the organic feel of this. It's fabulous work!
