Description

Just an old watercolor that was salvaged from a pile...the remnants of age & neglect... I painted over parts, removed rips in Photoshop, and now post it for all who are struggling, caring for those who are struggling, and as a gift of renewal for all. (Many of you need it now. May this be a little offering...)
* * * * * * I wish you all a splendid Sunday. And thanks for all your visits, comments & favs: As always, they mean a great deal. Peace & comforts to all! Mark

OH, I love these leaves very much. Beautiful and so graceful created. It is like your hands know, to make it soft and gracefully, when you draw or paint flowers and plants. Thanks for sharing, Mark.

Mark this is so magnificent and such a touching dedication for those who are hurting and or taking care of those who are. The message behind salvaging this old watercolor is so important as it says to me we need to do that for those around us who have been neglected and discarded and have so much to offer also.

Hurt and struggle take on so many different forms and this image addresses all of it in a rich, touching, and gentle way. It has the softness of a whisper, but the colors are rich and bold, adding significance to the message of the work itself; a small offering is often all that is needed in order to make a difference, and this is a profound and heartfelt offering, indeed. For me, the red leaves mark closure, the necessary step to take before renewal, so the promise of renewal is there. The old leaves have lived for their time and now the will gracefully fade and fall, making way for newer, greener leaves. Whether a 'new' piece of art comes into being to accompany this piece is uncertain, but there is definitely a promise here, and outside of the world of Renderosity, that's a promise worth holding onto, as it explicitly states that tomorrow will come...the sun will rise, and life--especially if you embrace it--will go on. Great, touching work!
