Description
Just a tiny while ago, someone dear passed away...this little piece is for her. I was making this card for a child, but she so liked it, I ultimately made it for her. Oddly, she never took it: She was ill & afraid she wouldn't be able to remember it, or where it was. So she asked me to 'hold' it for her... Now, very sadly, I offer it back: Maybe she can keep it at last, in the deep regions of her heart... May your soul clothe you now, sweet step-mother, in all that you yearned for in your final months, and in all that you missed and dreamt of. May it robe you in gowns of radiance; may you feel full again (yes)...and when I look up in the sky and see the stars, may I think, "there she is, shining once again, dear Virginia".
