Description

I think this MIGHT be the last picture from Smith Rock that I'm gonna make you look at! Well ... at least for now. No guarantees that I won't go back and find more things in the file later on. :) This is Mount Jefferson, as seen from the "inside" of Smith Rock. This is real, by the way - it's not a composite or a manipulation. Oh ... it's not crooked, either! :) And oh yeah ... do you see the climber just above that bald patch on the left-hand side? Just in case you needed something for scale.

And I thought you were talking about the climber way out there on the mountain:-) Just saw the climber in close when I zoomed in...which is well worth doing. What a unique capture. Bill

Window to the mighty mountain, what a fantastic compo and yes I see a climber but I am more draw to that single almost round rock sitting on the edge.

A bit late pointing it out but yes thet balancing rock is something else, it looks like the climber could walk up to it and give it a push. I don't think he would get anywhere mind, but he could try. Excellent capture Tara, and that chap does give a nice sense of the scale of this Rock. Bravo!!!!!
