Description
Would you believe me if I told you this was a tissue paper rose?
Would you believe me if I told you it was real?
I've been doing some experimenting with filter combinations ... of course I've not kept any notes, so maybe I've just been screwing around! Nothing so scientific as an experiment.
This was done in my high-tech natural backlighting studio. :)

Excellent backlit rose, I know where you are going with the filter thing, I have in the past done some filter work, then totaly forgot what I did and have never ever been able to re-produce the results, LOL!...Aint life a bitch!

My mother used to make delicate paper roses like this one Tara, she used crepe paper and wire for the stems. If she took her time with them you would be hard judged to note the difference so yes I would believe you. I used to help her when I was young, one year she was asked to do flowers for the local festival for a float that had entered. Someone else saw them and she was asked to do some more for a beauty Queen pagent. It finished up with about three thousand roses for that one. I like the filter you have used for this, it does look very much like the texture of crepe or tissue paper. An excellent capture and presentation. Bravo!!!!!
