I'm retired, but so busy I haven't posted anything in a while. When do work, I mostly use Carrara 8.5 Pro and Daz Studio for composition and rendering, and Fireworks and Photoshop for postwork and textures. I'm more a storyteller than an artist: I like scenes that tell a story -- or strongly suggest one.
I live in Sacramento, California USA with my wife. Kids are grown and gone, so we volunteer at our church, and travel as much as time and wallet will allow!
I REALLY appreciate the many great artists here who have been SO wonderful with their encouragement and pointers. PLEASE comment or just say "Hi". I appreciate your words good or bad: It energizes me, grows me - and keeps me going.

Shows the level of detailed planning behind this series - adds to the realism!

This is super Larry and you really did a first class job. This reminds me of the early D&D games where you would get a detailed map you'd study before starting out on your quest.

Nice story and concept, Larry. You really put a lot of work into this. Maybe a concept for a MMO game.+5

Excellent map Larry. I love it when there is maps that go along with the story. It definitely helps with the visualization of what is going on.

I recognize the avatar (your face), you visited my gallery today... I read you've put your art off for awhile and your getting into story writing - cool, sounds like me. This is an excellent idea (the map).... My BONDAGE A-Z books were an accident created here at Rendo... I'm so into it that I have visualized and writen the scenes of the next 4 books. This map you have here, I have thought of simular thoughts, however, I'm into character creation instead of background. I look at my Story as a story board for a movie. I've been so strapped on time, I don't have much time to create - LOL... so... I did want to suggest something that may be helpful for you for this map. Create uploads of part of the puzzle piece for your map and each time you get one done, put it on the map.... that way you can tell who's who and where they are located. I remember as a kid, I had a Winnie the Pooh map - that was cool... You could really go wild with your map - lots of detail... At this point, it would not work for my BONDAGE series because in the next few books he'll be everywhere and nowhere - LOL.... good luck with publishing and if you could, drop me a line on what you find out with prices and all that stuff. I eventually will put BONDAGE in a book, but as soon as I gain enough knowlege, props, characters, programs,etc... I'm going to write my children's book first. My children's book will go under Michael Anderson (that's me) My BONDAGE series will go under mikeerson (because it was created under that name and because I don't want little kids that like my kid's book to know I have an adult book with characters running around naked - LOL) I've got alot going on now, but I will be in from time to time to see what you're up to - thanks for the comment earlier.

This is an excellent idea, Larry. Maps add another dimension to the story, helping us, your readers, put the action and the characters into a geographical context. It may seem like a simple detail to include a map, but this really kicks the whole story up a notch. The map is nicely done, as well. It has just enough detail for the story and doesn't distract with a lot of unnecessary embellishments. The legend indicating scale is a nice touch!
