Hello ! Just one more of this little Sand Whasp. Well it smells a little like summer, doesnt it? Thank you so very much for your kind comments to yesterdays post and special warm thanks to those who added it to favs. I am very honoured. Have a great week with only happy times. We saw a little glimse of the sun this morning, but now it is grey again. But still not very cold and that is a good thing.

boy, your insect shots are real knockouts. In profile, we can really see the glassy exterior of this wasp, how shiny its eyes are, and that ceramic-sculpture tail. In your hands, we see how glittery these creatures are, how complex their 'seams' are, and how mechanically ingenious too. An eye-popping view, and you left the flower largely in soft focus so the wasp would stand out. Wonderful piece of work.
