A big palette of colours. The moss is very green, and the grass in front gives the picture depth. Excellent shot

another amazing mushroom, this one looking a little like raw liver! Each one is as unique as the last in this amazing series. But you've also captured a Japanese garden of sorts, in the leaves around the mushrooms, and your pov with the moss. The detail on the moss is stunning—we can see every leaf—and there's a leaf, bottom center, that pops out, the one with all the circles on it. A very rich capture, and those mushrooms are really scrumptious looking. Like I said, when this series is over, I'm going out and getting a quart of Scotch and drink myself into oblivion! (And I don't drink!) I don't know what I'll do with myself when you've posted the last one. Wonderful work, really.

This is something a bit different, in terms of color and composition.

Already frozen once or twice, I believe. This gives them an "ancient" color. Also dark spores contribute that, by now, impregnated the caps. My guess, Hypholoma fasciculare (originally yellowish).
