Description

[Please click on image for full size] "Sisters" Through blood or in friendship, they're Sisters; and nothing ever comes between them. From left to right: Yvonova - muscular and clad in her chainmail Road Warrior outfit (with a bit of custom Carrara shader luvin applied), Claire wearing the sporty Flightsuit 39, Kat in Technomaelstrom, and Raven in the Sci-Fi suit for Vicky II w/ V3 upgrade. Totally new, freshly rendered tonight. First new render in a long while, and I really needed some new wallpaper ;) I wanted to try some different sunset lighting,(I love sunsets) as well as try out some of the new purchases I bought in Daz's Generations Bundles packages... The Mystic Titan is from the vehicles bundle, still looking great for its age. Same with the 4 V3 sci-fi outfits. Some are at least 4-5yrs old, hard to believe, but theres honestly nothing wrong with them. V3 is just so much less system resources intensive. Even at 1680x1050, they still look lovely. Everything else is the 20 free Dystopia city blocks (grid of 50 rows by 50 columns, randomized), and StoneMason's "The Core". Carrara just barely managed to squeak this one through with out the darned "memory allocation error" for this system of 2gb ram. Render time was 1hour 44 minutes, Anti-Aliasing set to Good, and 2 pixel accuracy. I might also try depth of field. Not sure how much father I can take it without reducing image size or quality. I might try squeeze in some mountain ranges behind the city. The whiteish plain is *supposed* to be water, looks more like ice or frozen mist. I'll have to see whats up with that. Thankyou for viewing. Comments, constructive criticism and opinions are always and especially welcome.

Thx Biffowitz! I didn't know about the Mystic Titan either until the Vehicles Generations bundle. Theres also a texture set for it in the bundle. Reminds me of classic Anime stuff like Gundam Wing, Macross, Robotech, and Voltron (ok, Voltron wasn't Anime, but eh). Sci-fi & big mecha. Theres also a secondary cockpit in the head, where that indent is above the T-47. And thats the actual scale of the Titan, measuring in at 67.39ft height, and fits pilots no problem. I just don't know of anything else that big available to use for opponents. (other than scaling something up...Hmm, that could get interesting...) Its in the vehicles bundle @ Daz Generations Retirement Category ... Those were down to $7bux at PC price in October, then onsale at $10 "clearance price" as they were toted. I dunno if the retirement sale was a scam or not as it was advertised in the Daz3d Retirement Category forum announcement thread to be discontinued by end of November. Well, they seem to still be around first week into December. I was torqued that I missed out on them for the lowest price in October, when other sales were going on and there was no mention of them being slated for retirement. What good was having a Platinum Club and missing out being told they're being retired? That and while they had a few theme bundles, there was no Sci-Fi bundle, so I ended up buying 3 bundles at 10bux each for the scattered sci-fi content. I'm really enjoying the sci-fi content in them, now that I have them though. ;)

Very cool image. Those gals look like trouble just waiting to happen. The titan looks great too. Don't know if you use photoshop, but you could use a blur tool to give some dof without crashing your system.

Cool shot, but a little hard to see the true scale of it all.

Thanks! That would be the Mystic Titan's large shoulder plates and body obscuring the cityscape. Might be a mixed blessing, as I ran out of system resources once already trying to add in a scenic mountain valley range. My primary focus was try and see how well the older items hold up by today's standards, or if the original textures need replacing... And the scene just came together like that. Only the Roadwarrior for V3 needed a bit of Carrara custom shaders ;)
