Whenever I have a hard time recovering from an illness, I always say, back to the docs. Great capture of the top structure and its reflections in this shot, Marilyn. Lots of busy horizontal, vertical and crossbeam stuff going on.

Excellent. The reflection mirrors the colors so well and the overall composition is intensely interesting.

I'm a great big fan of your sense of color, but I have to say that your dock shots are just as astoundingly good. This one has a painting-like quality as well, and I find that intriguing as well as just flat out gorgeous. The sense of color is perfect here as well, the greens and blues add such great and moody depth to this image both visually and emotionally. The light is perfect.

I'm so behind I didn't know where to begin! I can only do a few images a night now, so I chose this by just 'picking', not because it wasn't worth a conscious choice but because I was pulled into everyone of them & didn't know where to begin...This is another of your photographic "abstract paintings," vital and bristling with form & light, etc, and another of the ever-present docks that (I assume) are near where you live. You certainly coax the poetry out of these rugged & hoary old structures! And the water (via reflection) gives another version of it all right below...Some of your photos explode off the page while others are reflective & inward: This has both. More of your dialogue with structure and with water. Looking forward to when I can view many pieces in a sitting—I've loved everything I've seen since I left. Fine piece of photographic music.
