Description
This was an early version of "Down on the farm", which I actually much prefer to the versions that I posted back then.
The image looks very different on the Mac and PC - please let me know if it is too dark on the PC.
Vue 6.5 ProStudio, Wabe's Bad Weather Expansion Pack 1 - Rain. Resized and mirrored in PSP.

It is okay on Mac with a monitor calibrated for print, so it should work on a PC! Excellent moody landscape!

The lighting on this seems to really evoke the darkening cloud-filled sky on the approach of a storm. And the lush green foliage even adds to the coming onslaught of rain. Very well done, Craig.

Great moody sky. I love the landscaping you did with all the varying levels. The trees and lush greenery are great. It sounds like we are having the same questions regarding Mac versus PC. I calibrated my Mac for a PC in the settings and I'm told now my work is showing up for Windows users.

Wonderful scene - I like the look of all the growth. The lighting seems fine on the PC and not to dark. The rain looks off though. Rain normaly falls at a fairly uniform angle - even if you seen it in a heavy wind it will fall in the shape of a curve based on the streangth of the wind. Suggest it could be a bit more narrow? - Check that the clouds are right type for rain, though it works fine for a partial cloudy sky where you get rain and the sun is out - a bit of reflection/refraction would help though then.

Reminds me of Mayan ruins. The lighting is perfect on my PC. The rain does look a little funny though. Maybe it's really windy.? Love the new GG avatar by the way.
