Description

Which house would you expect a fellow member of Rendrosity's Photography Gallery to be visiting? Top or bottom? Both houses are within five miles of each other. Both are in Georgia. But that's Skipper62 waving from the front porch of the 100+ year old log cabin on the bottom. Quite a contrast, don't you agree? The log cabin would easily fit in the living room of the lake house at the top of the page. Have a great day, Bill

Less Stress, sense of freedom, Ha... Once you get the copperheads and other critters out, I suppose so. But, the top one has indoor plumbing, heat/air and room for a pony and Mother-in-law in the wing to the left which is not shown. Oh, and the roof does not leak. House on top has 23,000 sq feet. Would rather pay the taxes on the bottom one. Cheers, Skipper62

As I like to think of myself as "Lady of the Manor" Bill, (I do jest by the way) I will go for the top one to stay in lol - but like Skipper62 I will pay the taxes on the bottom one too. Lovely photo's.

Ok, between the two xhots, I'll live in that Gazebo... A fire pit in the winter with drop-canvass sides and I'm good to go. Nice and close to the water. :-) Great shot of your dad, right? Both, wonderful shots.

Unless the Renderosity member was after old weathered wood effects, I would expect him or her to be visiting the mansion shown at the top. Interesting blue frame effects on display in this collage, Bill.

Which is more social, which is more civilized, which is more Swedish?

Wonderful contrasts! After Skipper mentioned the snakes, I think I'll just stay home. The mansion is a bit OTT for me, but I don't want to fight the critters in order to get a good night's sleep, either! Both are great shots.

I love large homes, but if you talk about visiting, I'd rather go for the bottom one! Great collage, Bill!

Afraid I'd go for the shack, (for a week in Summer / Autumn) far too much housework in the top one :) Great pictures in contrast. Thanks Bill.

... of course I would want the small house! There I would not have to clean so much! ;-)) Maybe the man is also happier in the small house, than the inhabitants in the big house??!!?? Very nice photos!

Bill, I am such a low rent guy that I probably would prefer the 100 year old cabin. Bet it didn't have A/C or a heater.

Interesting choice. Great memories and adventures in a cabin, and way too much responsibility in a mansion. I had to hang my camera on a nail next to my jacket, though. And the internet wasn't there. Still, I'd pick a cabin.

What a mansion! Would hate to pay the yearly taxes, much less the monthly bills! The cabin is much more charming, and how nice to see Skipper there. Nice images, Bill.
