Well, I've almost had enough of winter! Looking forward big-time to Spring. Plans are to create our own tropical paradise, even though we're far removed from the Tropic of Cancer. Our banana trees are in the garage under the plant light, and the elephant ears and caladiums and a host of others are peacefully slumbering. For now. The back side of our land is on a small natural bluff, which gave to opportunity for a double level back deck. Right now the many trees back there are bare, but come spring it will resume the above view. The foliage is so thick around the lower deck that it provides absolute total seclusion. That expands the potential back there considerably because you can be outside and still on a wooden floor, with all the privacy of being inside. Best of both worlds! But for now this picture, taken early last October, is as close as I can get. Happy New Year to all! marshall
