Description

I chose this Harris's Sparrow for my last post of 2008. The Harris's Sparrows are winter residences here and are found mostly foraging on the ground for there food. I caught this guy as he landed on the bird bath. Wishing all a very Happy New Year.

Great shot. Looking through your gallery on my first visit, needless to say, I really like all your birds. I haven't worked on the birds around my house but really should...first things first...I need to get a bird feeder back out this year.
