Description
This is the second of three shots taken on Christmas morning. This is a view of Gosbrook Road at its junction with Westfield Road.
Though it looks quite narrow, this is one of the main roads through Reading and is usually full of traffic.
There was so little traffic that I was able to stand in the road to take it.
I am old enough to remember when this sort of picture could be taken every Sunday but now, with seven days-a-week shopping, Christmas seems to be the only day I get the opportunity to take these shots.
Oh well, that's progress I suppose.
