I adore any kind of bird and you are lucky of to have of so close to so pretty birds. practice they are very apprehensive with the man. Superb presentation. Cheer and mile mercies ((5++)) J'adore tout genre d'oiseau et tu es chanceux d'avoir de si près de si joli oiseaux.D'habitude ils sont très craintif à l'homme . . Superbe présentation . Bravo et mile mercis ((5++))

Wonderful photo :) I also have a pair of cardinals that visit my yard, and just the other day a chickadee stopped in for a snack too. I love watching them but can never get a good photo with my little digital camera.

Beautiful! Its too bad these birds are getting so scarce, them and blue jays, at least the little wrens still seem to be doing well. In my area its mostly being taken over by black birds and pidgions (AKA the flying rat). Pigions are not a good bird to be taking over either, as they are realy realy dirty. Another bird that just seems to be gone, at least in my area, is the humming bird, used to be, when I was kid, these realy colorful (the light would rainbow shimmer off them) humming birds, my mom used to have a feeder for, but now their gone. At least we have eagles again (after they brought them back from other areas of the country) and a few hawks have returned on their own too.

The Cardinals have all left the Saint Louis area, but I know that they will return for nesting and baseball in the Spring. Wonderful nature shot of two birds!
