Description

Back on the dunes--this fence has been taken down by the constant battering of the sand and wind and elements. You sure can't fence in the sea!!

Can't fence in Mother nature, and I see she has had a great go at the barbed wire, great rusty textures :)

Relentless pressure. With the cattle being moved elsewhere, not much need for the fence anymore. Very nice image here. BTW, congrats on one of your beach shots being selected for LWITG! Way to go. Bill

I know I've skipped items, & I'll get to them all, I promise; I just don't want to miss your latest while I look at the older stuff too...This shot is filled with motion! Esp. full-view: It's just swept with grasses going every which way, and the grain of the wood is whooshing & swooping through the shot. A dramatic shot for something's that's already been struck & is down. Your eye is working full-time, capturing the drama of a the sea where the sea has already left. Quite vivid, Marilyn. (And what did you stand on? Looks like you're trekking on difficult terrain! I mean, I assume there's no paved sidewalk there!) I can feel the wind as if it just left; this is really dramatic.
