Description
I get to do a lot of neat things in my day job, including work with some of the minds behind the designs of the rocket motors that may take us back to the Moon, and later to Mars. I took the opportunity to blend my day job with my personal interests in CG. This scene depicts the Ares 7 launcher just after launch on the eventual first manned mission to the moon since the Apollo era.

That's really cool--having the moon in the back works both as a artistic motif and a realistic view of the scene (assuming a telephoto lens;-). I like the colors, too!
