Description

This is a study render for a piece I'm premiering at a gallery showing this month in Salem, MA. (The gallery show is called "Orbital Crossings".) The first fleet of rockets constructed on Mars (circa. 1900) is ready for launch as part of a terraforming mission to Phobos. I still have one more thematic element to add, and I've got a lot of work left with materials to finish, as well as Photoshop filters. Any comments / suggestions would be greatly welcomed and appreciated.

Very nice -- the use of red gives a wonderful atmosphere to the image. The only suggestion I have is to change the angle slightly so the rockets don't start blending together so soon.

Reminds me irresistably of the Hugos;) I like the sepia very much, the sky is still a little Vue basic, I would add some more dimensional clouds, but it's not enough to be a problem.
