Gives the feel of a cold wintry night. The scene reminds me of the alley behind my grandfathers house some years ago...everybody's backyard joined at the common alley way. Color shifting from bright white to warmer tones adds a lot of interest. Looking good.

maybe its the light that meets the snow or the little contrast from the fragile branches to the left wich leaves this fading impression, love it nikolay!

My eyes gravitate to the white, gently wavy, line that appears semi-transparent in it's center. In fact 2 lines. It first appears to flow from a bush or tree trunk. My attention is rapt. Suddenly, I see a forearm and hand rising from the snow covered ground. The hand holds a darkened tube from which the wavy smoke flows into the cold winter air. I love it, Nikolay!

Shadows, transparents, lights and the several lines toutching themselves. The dark and the white merging all the space, makes your work a piece of art.

I like the contrast in lights, from very cold to warm and inviting. Nicely done Nikolay!!!

Oh, VERY nice! Such an ordinary scene, but with your eye and skill and talent, it's become extraordinary. Wonderful!

tara: "but with your eye and skill and talent, it's become extraordinary." Ditto. It's not just the wonderful contrast between upper half with that wonderful (I assume) late-night lighting against the lower half with its white-hues...it's the sense of motion, or what feels like motion—like there's motion in the camera, or you got subtle double lines, or the light played off of surfaces, etc, and there's a sense of all things in subtle shift, subtle change. It makes it all alive & luminous (anaber speaks beautifully of it!) Even the background is alive with muted lights & land divisions. A rich and yet not-fully-revealed picture. The "not-fully-revealed" is part of its beauty, its mystery. Another fine piece, Nikolay.

фантазии в ночи из скупости зимы белеющей приходят весны тепло лишь в снах - было оно... а будет ли опять?...

I love this scene, and I don't really know why. Maybe the sense of mystery. Maybe the lighting. I don't know
