To begin my name is Vincent Brown. live in San Francisco, California. I grow up in the San Fernando Valley in the Los Angeles area.
I moved to the SF bay area in the early 90's in the hope of attending art school. I was planning to study industrial design. Unfortunately for me a recession hit the US in the early ninety's. So my schooling was put on hold. I was never able to get back to it. However, throughout the decade I managed to work on my design skills by picking odd graphic jobs here and there. By the end of the ninety's I was working as a full time videographer. Still keeping my hand in graphics.
About that time I was doing some graphics for a friend who wanted me to add some 3D to the work I was doing. I was given a copy of Bryce from a friend that was a game developer and some how was connected to the 2.0 development team of Bryce. I had to teach myself the program. It didn't come with any manuals. I learned enough to finish the project. But that was it I was hooked on the 3D environment.
Working as a videographer by day while at night on my Bryce skills. Someone called it "Making worlds."
So where am I now? At present I am continuing to work on my 3D skill set. Learning Poser, Wings3D and DAZ Studio and most resently Hexagon. I still have a lot to learn. I hope to acquire knowledge of other programs as time allows. My hope is to someday work as a 3D illustrator. I'm working on it.
I hope you enjoy my gallery.

Well Done! What a brilliant image, not just in terms of technical detail, but in the way you have captured the different depth's of field. It really does make you feel that someone actually was there taking a picture.

As Kiteria said, a very good image, especially the use of DOF....

Fabulous modeling and texture work, great use of the DOF. A little dust being blown around would finish this off quite nicely. Nice work for sure!

Very cool, I like the DOF in this, and the model of the lander is fantastic.

Wow!!!!!!! I really like your spacecraft, very cool. The image is really well presented. I like how you've manage to keep the ship as the main focus with both forground and background soft. Excellent my friend!!! Cheers, David

Very nice - almost looks like a non-digital model and scene (minus the strings.

Cool probe/spaceship model and great POV - Maybe U could improve the scene by adding some thrust/light/dust effect ? (depends of the atmosphere related to Phobos)

This kinda reminds me of the music video for the song "Talk" by Coldplay; the video has a spaceship miniature landing in a similar manner on a rocky world, and the focus makes this model look like a miniature too. Nice work!
