Description

Another shot from sledding day but this time I wanted to see how my sunglasses worked to view Matthew at the bottom of the hill. I also want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Duncan Long. He is a talented artist that can be found in the 2D gallery. If you have a minute please take a look at his gallery. Thanks so much, Duncan for the many years of encouragement and friendship. Have a great week! Jodie

Thanks so much for this kindness. The perfect shot as well, for those of us with tired old tired eyes that need sunglasses in the glare, even as the eyes of youth see clearly and without a filter between them and bright reality. Keep up the good work and thanks so much for brightening the lives of all those who have the joy of crossing your path during our snowy walks through this life.

Jodie, this is great. How many times have I thought about how to show what I'm seeing when I have my shades on...? You did this just beautifully.

Hey, why didn't I think of this? Interesting capture of the image surrounding and through what I assume are polarized tinted sunglasses, Jodie. This is really a unique use of a filter.

Very creative down to the tone and shades of color you achieved this way! I hope you didn't plough the furrow extending into the picture... :-| Happy birthday Duncan, may there be many more of the good things in life ahead!

a fun shot and very novel (and a great gift for a friend), but behind the shades-lens, you have a painterly picture, a painterly sky and beautifully blued-out snow cover. It's almost dreamlike, as is the softness of the tree in the background. I think this is beautiful in addition to being fun. And I love the deep furrow of footsteps in the foreground. A lot of photographic painting in a playful shot...
