Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Oooo, weee, don't want to touch these if you have a nick on your finger anywhere. Great photo...like the way you have them suspended against a black background. Very well done!

Hot hot hot !!! When I was able to work I was a hospital cook 20 years lol (yeah I know, hospital food ughhhh!) someone has to get blamed ! Anyhow I had a few occasions chopping the chillies and even after you finish and washed your hands don't rub your itchy eyes!

Oh, yeah... I had a great rib eye steak tonight buried in hot peppers... I'm a true pepper fan. :-) Wonderful contrast with the black background.

I made the mistake of rubbing my eyes and other parts after cooking with these and needless to say, it was a burning experience! Great shot!

yeah they look deadly alright! One of them looks like someone took a bite out of it. I remember other peppers in your gallery...I guess all good photographers have to return to these, because they're extremely colorful, they make vivid silhouettes (like here) and they make everyone hungry. They were hot? I'm one of those doofesses who sees a pepper, says, "looks good!" and takes a bite the size of Cleveland. When I regain consciousness, people tell me I spoke in tongues...a really fun shot. Always love your food shots...
