Description
This photo came about while developing a challenge shot where I wanted to illustrate the words, "In the Groove".
This 33 1/3 RPM turntable has been sitting downstairs unused for at least 20 years.
After setting it on my kitchen counter and placing a red record jacket behind the turntable I was pleasantly surprised by what appeared.
Hope this brings some memories back to all you "Mid-Century Moderns"...a term just surfaced today by Tara (auntietk).

Great shot Bill. It sure brings back momories of when I played records on my Gerard (?) turntable which I bought at Subic Bay.

Although I am very much an ipod man, I still play my old turntable. They are great and have a distinctive sound all of their own. And the photo Bill is pin-sharp.
