Description

Actually, my orchid, again, and my stovetop studio!! The glass is special as well; it's the last piece from my mom's crystal set. As a kid, I remember making pudding and pouring it into the champagne glasses. I thought it was the most wonderfully elegant thing. I'm not sure those glasses ever held anything BUT pudding!!

Incredible beauty. I also used to insist that mother make puddings in the cocktail glasses. I thought I was hot stuff to eat pudding out of those elegant glasses.

well I didn't see this one yet...you know, since this glass is from your mother and was supposed to be for champagne, you gave it a very elegant and somewhat nostalgic look. It's a reflective shot, and the golds are gentle & 'kind'. I put that in quotes because I can't really explain it, it just feels kind to me. The light feels like a late-day sun (though I assume it's not the actual sun, since this is your stovetop studio). (Though, if you have the sun over your stove, you don't need the stove!) Very sensitive Marilyn, and elegant; and respectful of the source it came from.
