Description

(Please zoom!!!) * * * * * * This creature flew in my window & said, "Scan me! I'm for Martin!" Who's Martin? He's groegnitram, here, whose art I've had the pleasure of knowing long before his present gallery, & whose art (deep breath):
soars, sings, dances, laughs, cries, creates touching portraits & wonderful visions, and some of the subtlest humor this side of anywhere. A simple stroke for him is--yes--an act of love; the subtlest shading, a caress; pencils seemed to have been made for him, and that doesn't count his dedis, the wonderful encouragement he gives, or the way he fills the 2DForum & site with love & support galore... Martin, I know I'm not part of the forum-family anymore, but I still go there & look; and between there & your gallery, it's been a pleasure to walk under your eaves. I wish you many more years of vision & creation; you certainly inspire us in ours--your fans love what you do here!
* * * * * * (Pencils.) Thanks for all your visits! Have a wonderful weekend all, Mark (I'll get to comments soon, it's been one of those weeks!)

and there will be many more years of drawing for sure, mark :) and with people like you it's a bit like flying through it all, or, like looking at things with a different idea and vision! something funny is that you post an image wich resembles very much of some of my images i did a while ago, i love the flowing shapes and their drift, they appear trusted to me. i'll sent the same wishes and thoughts back to you, all the best and thank you very much for this, it touched me a lot and my day is way brighter than it was before. it's wonderful, mark, thank you!

I've visited Martin's gallery and you have honored him well with this image. The moment I saw it I thought of flight, of birds, of the sky. It floats serenely and gives me a sense of peace.

Like a bird "making fun" with all that space around..or like a person floating in a calm atmosphere of dream...The colours and the lines involve themselves perfectly with energy and swetness! I can imagine de smile of Martin.:))) BEAUTIFUL DRAW!!

Oh how beautiful! The colors as so aquatic and it flows like it is free to move as if in water. There are even some soft, tentacle-like fingers. It also has a wonderful symmetry, much like a natural seashell. It is exquisite and a great dedi.

to me it looks like a marine creature, probably due to the aquatic tones, sailing under the surface and captured from the bottom. most impressive, Mark!
