Description
I hardly ever post photographs but thought I'd share this one with everyone. I've just got back from a family holiday in Fuerteventura (one of the Canary Islands) and there were a few areas along the beach where these adorable creatures would run up to you and actually take food from you if you held it out for them.
They are of course Chipmunks and how original is the name we came up for this one ... 'Chippy', LOL.

I just saw your really lovely comments on Bunny's latest, and had to come and look at your gallery. I really enjoyed my visit. You have some wonderful images and Artwork on display. This little fellow caught my eye too - we were in Fuerteventura a few years ago when it resembled the mountains of the moon and we spent most of our holiday money on pistachio nuts for the chipmunks. Adorable little creatures, but we and they, had to watch out for the gulls - always ready for a tasty chipmunk. I see you are a Man.Utd fan. That's good.
