Description

Some clowns of advancing age at a county fair this past weekend. Photographed in infrared. If you think the colors are odd here, you should have seen them in visible light!

This looks great! The IR gives it a sort of denim-and-muslin look that I really like.

Even for those with a fear of clowns, it would be difficult to be fearful of these funny ladies. Wonderful shot.

Ah yes, minstrels in White Face, yes, yes. How about hiring a riverboat and singing and dancing up the Mississipp'? Did I ever recommend Herman Melville's The Confidence Man? You might also try out George Washington Cable's The Grandissimes, if you don't already know it. Anyway--good pic.

Clowns? They look like munchkins to me, on lease from the Wonderful Land of Oz. Follow the yellow brick road! An interesting bit of infraredding here, Kort!

Can't decide if this looks more like a scene from a Fellini film or an albino convention - maybe Fellini filming an albino convention. Seems like most of your IR work has been of landscapes & foliage (& I like those a lot), but that using human figures might be fertile ground to explore also?
