Description

When renting a Canon 300mm f/4 L IS USM, along with a 1.4x teleconverter, I revisited the Bembe Beach/Back Creek osprey nest. This one came out well. At this point, I was pretty much convinced, and I have since bought this lens.

gorgeous bird in flight......which is very hard to do...fantastic clear eyes...but I am not sure about the framing it distract in my view...hope you don't mind

Nice one, you caught him eyeballing you which was a great bit of luck, pity you didn't quite get him all in but it's damn tricky i know. Still a great capture !

Thanks for your comments.. I definitely don't disagree with the cropping/framing feedback. I am always uncertain how best to handle it when the subject (the eyes) is so tightly focused, but the wing tips, IMO, are distractingly blurred.. I chose this crop this time, but the good news is I can always re-crop it later if I want.. heh heh
