Description
This dedication is for MagikUnicorn and Mickeyrony, and I am so proud to do it. They are great friends and both of them asked me to make a image of them as children being happy. I know not everyone has happy childhood memories, and that is why it was important for me to do a good job for them. Mickey is a great photographer who has a passion for classic cars. Magik loves photography and also works in Bryce and Terragen. Both of them are very talented artists and the nicest men you could ever hope to meet. Mickey and Magik have made videos for my sister, my nieces and myself. Magik shares with me news of NASA and outer space and has made banners and other gifts for me. Mickey is always so kind to me and always lets me view his videos before anyone else. They have done so much for me so I wanted to create a vision of the childhood they deserved to have. Hope for smiles
Street Dreams (For MagikUnicorn & Mickeyrony): In my mind I see best friends Magik and Mickey heading out for a day of fun. Both of them have new pedal cars and want to test them on the street. Mickey has a classic Chevrolet and his sister Diane and their puppy both come along. While Magik has a super cool Space Ship with huge booster rockets for extra speed. Both boys drive their pedal cars downtown to show them off. Everyone points and stares at their cool cars as they drive down the street like they were in a parade. Stopping only at the toy store for a moment and then to get ice cream for Diane. This is the childhood memory these two deserve. Thank you guys for your friendship to me.

This takes me back. A friend used to have an expensive metal pedal car. We could not afford one so my dad made us box carts out of wood and old pram wheels. We used to speed down a sloping pathway towards a paddling pool and had to make a sharp turn at speed to avoid ending up in the pool. We never did! The cheap carts outlasted the expensive metal car as ours could be adjusted as we grew. On holiday in the country dad took me and my two brothers on a large box cart down a steep road (not too many cars about those days), it was a thrilling ride at speed until he applied the brakes and found they weren't up to the job! It did slow down but we had to crash into a wall to stop, no one hurt, happy days. Thanks for the memory Dave, great work and dedication. I recognise the spaceship, nice conversion!

How sweet! I too love the info Magik gives us from Nasa and his wonderful eye for reflections! I don't know the other man but shall have to visit his gallery too! Again you bring memories for me, of my brother who passed at 38 years old (far too young), he had two passions, anything with wheels that he could ride and lawnmowers, lol! My mother owned an antique store for 22 years prior to her death and she and my step father bought many antique cars. Rod was crazy for them! He first started working on tricycles and mowers at about 7 and then at a mere 12 years old he was helping to restore the antique cars. He would have loved this. I miss him still, thanks for another great memory Dave!

I had missed before that you had done one for MagikUnicorn and Mickeyrony. I have been to both of their galleries and to Magic's frequently. I love reading about RR friends who live close to each other and get together and then post things from time spent together. This image is so much fun! The bright lighting is perfect for a childhood memory of fun and adventure. Wonderful that you made their vehicles fit their current passions. This is totally fitting as so often these passions start young. Excellent image and words, my friend!
