Description

Dear Friends; The following is a scene I'm setting up for my Porn Comic. The only light in the scene are pin lights located in the WagonWheel Chandelier globes. I'd like those globes to glow. Also, which tool in Poser Pro should I use to extend the stove pipe through the ceiling. The Shaker Table, LadderBack Chairs, Franklin Stove, and WagonWheel Chandelier are actually all my own creation in 3ds Max. The rest are Freebie props that I've collected. The room itself was originally part of the 'Old House' freebie Prop that I used in my previous gallery upload. Since that prop was made only for external viewing, I had to do a lot of customization to it also in 3ds Max, mainly because I wanted the outside Porch Pillars and the Windows to correspond to each other between Internal and External views. Otherwise, I could have saved myself a lot of aggravation by building from scratch. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. DPH

Great work on the modeling - if you made the stove I would think it would be easier to lengthen the stove pipe in Max - a magnet may work - lights: you could try point lights on each globe or add as postwork - something about the gather node rings a bell but ... try a search in the forum - keep up the good work

The modeling is great. You may want to change the highlights of the green material, it looks very "Poser plastic". Either change the highlights or maybe add a very slight noise bump, to make the surface more rough.

Agree with Bantha here,a diferent highlight could increase the realism a little more, else great work

in Poser Pro you could use the morph brush to extend the pipe. to use the point lights with the chandelier i suggest using the ambient node and maybe some edge blend if the glass is supposed to be thick enough. if it were me, i'd also use bagginsbill's inverse square fall-off material on the lights. it helps with realism. for the same reason, i'd tone down the shine on the green molding. i'm not sure those choices would be right for you, though. a reference for the lights: light sconce near a wall

Sorry can't help with the Poser Pro question. Not sure where we are, but it looks a little too fancy for the O'Toole Brothers. Great work, keep it up!
