Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I see that you were hedging your bets, keeping the double line dead centre ready to dart left or right!

On the road again Just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again On the road again Goin' places that I've never been Seein' things that I may never see again, And I can't wait to get on the road again. On the road again Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway We're the best of friends Insisting that the world be turnin' our way And our way Is on the road again Just can't wait to get on the road again The life I love is makin' music with my friends And I can't wait to get on the road again Keen POV used and stark light/dark contrast in this stellar capture, Marilyn!

love the comments, Andrea's "safe bet" (you got the double line right in the center) and goodoleboy, who always leaves great comments and often songs too (we could've used him in our gig days, we never remembered a lyric to save our lives!). Nice shadow, nice burst of light in the end, and a nice bold orange line right down the middle. If this is what your ride looks like, you should have a great trip. Enjoy yourself! Thanks for leaving this very autumnal and warm shot in your absence...

Safe trip, Marilyn. Willie Nelson's hit, "On the Road Again" comes to mind, here.
