The Bronte Seat
I actually put this up more as an item of interest than a master piece.Maybe some who are literary minded will find this of interest.
A circular walk will take you from the Bronte parsonage in Haworth to the location of Top Withens where it is said Emily Bronte based her idea for the location of her famous book "Wuthering Heights".On the return of the walk one reaches the Bronte Bridge which had to be replaced after heavy storms and the Bronte Falls. It is here that one can find the Bronte Seat,a large chair shaped stone.This was a favourite place the sisters Ann,Emily and Charlotte and was often visited on their walks across the wildness of the Yorkshire moors..
