Description

Following the shakedown cruise for the original prototype, some modifications were made to the design before the production model was rolled out. The Ehta-IIb turned out to be a very popular ship, and the versatility of its basic design allowed it to be modified for a myriad of other functions... But that's a story for another time. --------- This is the same basic model as my previous post, with some minor changes to the model. If you want to see this concept's earlier form to compare with this version, take a look at this much older post of mine: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1427414&member Ship was made and rendered in Bryce 6, with textures that are a mix of presets and some of my own. The background stars, nebula, and planet are all in Photoshop. Compositing, effects and other postwork all in Photoshop as well. Thanks for taking a look, and comments/suggestions/critiques are definitely welcome. Especially suggestions, I really want to hear what you think needs work, it's the only way I get better!

Nice! Looks like you've doubled the cargo capacity since yesterday's version. (and for the older one, it still looks good, and the planet looks a little less dead than this one.)

NIce ship though the afterburners look like they are doing some damage. I some times feel the background is a bit too busy though as grafikeer sais this is good composition.

I like the Bryce-based modeling and creative use of odds and ends to create a plausible space tug and what I assume are cargo modules. Good old Sci-Fi at its best. Gotta love it.
