Description

Am I the only person who is fed up with February. These mono tone grey skie's have hung like a dismal shroud across Lancashire dulling any thoughts of venturing out in search of new images. Anyway this is Lovers Leap in Yorkshire. Not sure of why it is called so but didn't venture to admire the drop either. Hauled this back from a badly over exposed image but was pleased with the out come. One good reason for not ditching the three zillion images I have that I never bothered with before.

I love the location, and yes I am ready for Feb to move on so that stuff starts to turn green again by me.

Beautiful shot, I'm glad you rescued it! The whorl of the clouds is placed perfectly to accentate the "leap"...and the lighting is awesome!

Wow! I love the way the lighting gives so much richness to the stoney foreground and to the landscape beyond. Beautiful photo!

Wonderful tones and while the sunny weather is welcome seldom do you get such great moody atmospheres as this..

I think this is a beautiful shot. I'm glad that you resurrected it. The additional lighting on the rock is superb and all the colours work so beautifully. Exceptional postwork and super shot!

I can totally agree about the gray clouds. It seems that we have seen a lot of that this season. This is a wonderful shot and the lighting is excellent.

This shot is sooo saved! Looks very strong, really good image. Yeah, february is getting old, tired of snow and bitter cold weather.
