Description

A smack on the head. #;oD I was browsing some old photos, this evening. And i could not help laughing over these, from approx. 2002. A small collage of my dog, Kittie The 3.rd, from when she was a pup. She is almost 7 years old now. Seen here with her friend, the cat, Olav(named after the King of Norway) #:o).. The cat and dog was seperated, during my last divorce. #:oD But they loved each other.. and loved to tease each other, too. The situation seen on these images, happened very often. The dog could look at the cat for a long time..... just sit there... looking...#:o) But then all of a sudden... the temptation became too overwhelming....#;oD The cat was not easy to dominate... so the dog always got a smack on the head...And the cat kept his throne, on the chair. Nothing serious ever happened to any of them, though... But watching them tease each other... was fantastic entertainment. Always a big laugh... just by watching them. Any way....have a good laugh. #;oD And thanks for comments, faves and general support of my gallery.

LOL The lighting and the fur in the sunlight, is superb, as well as the action you caught in the second one.

from the size of his paws he must be very large now. I love both shots Lars. my new dog wanted to approach a cat one day and the cat stood it's ground and when she got too close the cat smacked once and I hope she learned a lesson

What really makes it extra funny, is... that a cat is FAST.. REALLY fast when it hit. Almost too fast to capture for an old camera.

a wonderful capture, the first is a typical dog/cat get-together, with the cat looking like "do I have to do this???" But in the second, you have what cats & dogs do: Kittie is engaging, Olav is staking his territory. Kittie's expression is great, because she's got her paws on the chair but is rearing back; and Olav is in a posture only felines get. (I don't know any other animal that swipes like that. It's pure 'cat'.) Love the shot. And I don't know what's going on outside your window, but I luuuuuv those textures: They're wonderfully diverse & expressive. (Almost looks like ice on the glass; either that or you're looking out over some fascinating rock formations!)

fun shots! cats can be super fast when they strike; you got the action shot really well. I like the sunlight on the dog's fur, it makes him looks so warm and fuzzy.

heheh, olaf looks like our gargamel did.this is precious work amigo. our poodle timmy always carrried the cats around in his mouth-when they where small and kittens, later he received a little slap from time to time when he got on the cats nerves. but never anything serious, they where drinkink out of the same bowl man,all a perfect world to them. but it looks like the two-legs (humans)are not able to live like this in peace..!!!!!!!!

Lars you certainly captured the moment, it is good to see how cats and dogs can get on together, but remembering that sometimes they just might like to tease one another. Wonderful shot, hugs Jane xx

Animals are always great to look at, cats and dogs can be great pals sometimes. My dog also was a real tease for the cat but she could not be without him for a minute. She sudenly passed away last month and the cat still misses her, she cuddles up against a picture of the dog and lies there, sometimes for hours. A really sad thing to see I can tell you. Great looking images my friend.
