Description
The last in this very short series of film photos I took back in April 2001 of a Lockheed P-38, on Visitor's Day at the March AFB museum in Riverside, CA.
These shots were scanned off the prints and postworked.
Check out yesterday's posting for more information.
A nacelle, all by itself, with its nose armament, is apparent in all three photos, mainly the bottom one. It sits isolated from the wings, booms and tail structure of another Lightning interceptor.
Judging from the lack of response to the first P38 collage, it's most apparent that many women don't like this kind of stuff. And yes, I have gotten negative comments on the subject matter from ladies. But I feel there's more to life than flora and fauna; I believe that any form of transportation, whether it be air, ground or water, is beautiful.
Thankx for looking in, and have a Monday of momentous proportions.

As I said yesterday, I know nothing about planes; but I really love your composition in the middle shot. The angle of the propellers and the lines of the quonset roof are very harmonious, and all that silver feels really "hi tech". Nice work!

Good shooting again Harry. You know me, I like this sort of thing very much but by the same token, I know a lot of our lady friends aren't real enthused about things that fly:)

It's sure an odd looking bird, but as long as it flies, I guess that's the point--great shots!!

Cool montage, my friend. Well Post worked! I too, know our Lady friends on the site don't really go in for the 'Transport' shots! And as that's mostly what I post, I'm buggered!!! Cool shots, mate. well done. Rob.
