Description
The feet at the foot of the stairs belong to Julia & Geneva. The stairs are in one of my favorite Memphis landmarks, Ernestine & Hazels, located in the old section on Main Street.
Each step taken on these creaky old stairs is a step back in time. E & H has taken on multiple personalities over the many decades including a Dry Goods store, a haven for Soul and R & B musicians, and even a brothel. Actually for a while, all at once.

This is almost spooky..is it on tourists haunts if sought out? Is this a safe place to be? I do like the essence of time and change the photo brings out.
