Description
A picture of my beloved home planet. Taken with one of your Earth webcams (yes a webcam) attached to an 8" diameter telescope.
Your earth is currently moving around the sun such that your planet's orbit passes through the ring plane of Saturn. that is why the rings are becoming more and more difficult to see.
They will apparently be totally edge on and invisible in September this year, but DO NOT TRY TO LOOK, as Saturn will be hiding behind the sun at that point.
