Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Looking good. How'd that one lonely, little red glass bauble get in there? I like it.

This busy blue collage has overwhelmed me to the point of speechlessness, M. Nice job, though.

Well! Leave it to you to do both versions! You caught the blue glass in angles & pov's that obscure their points of reference (ie, what they're on, how they're situated, etc) so that they appear like abstracts or sculptures. You got their inner bloom here...I love harry's comment, it must've really gotten to him! An in your face burst of blue glass and all it has to say. And in part it looks like a microscopic shot of cells or some kind of strange creatures. Very creative work, Marilyn. I should've known you'd do this the very next day!
