Description

Wandering around my yard yesterday, and these irises surprised me by just being there. I swear, they popped up overnight!!

Beautiful capture of your new, overnight resident Marilyn!!! Reference RJ's (PD154) opening comment, With Joint Resolution No. 53, approved on April 19,1933, the iris (genus Iridaceae) was adopted as the "State flower of Tennessee." The state flower of Tennesseecowgirl no less.

mel brooks once said something like, "that food makes you want to throw a party for your mouth!" That's what these flowers do for my eye. The blues & whites are fairly blasting & they really get the inner presence of flowers. The light here is bursting too. A real explosion of a shot...
