Description

Are you surprised that this is from Anna's yard? It was just sitting there; she found it at a yard sale for 50 cents and gave it to me. Now it sits in MY yard. That same day we unearthed a blue speckled tea kettle that now lives on my stove and gets used every single day; a little cleaning and scrubbing and it' was good as new. Guess I better take its pic, equal time and all that!!

What a find! Does that spout pour OK, I wonder? Just a potter's interest in these matters! A richly gorgeous shot.

A great pot! and a superlative blending between the rough surface of the wall and the raku-like enamel of the pot!

Thought it was enamel...but have changed my mind...now think it is ceramic. Whatever it is, it is classy and decorative. Nice pic of your great find.

My grandson (PJsArf) just cast two large dog prints in concrete and, jointly, we decorated them with half marbles and glue glitter. Then I coated them with plastic and set them in our garden. We are constantly adding things to be found under and between the plants. Great addition to your garden!

Lovely kettle and lovely shot—I agree with Tara, there's something about it that's compelling. Maybe the soft focus or the shadows, like this is a private moment...And yes, I had a feeling it was Anna's at some point in time, I can see why the two of you are friends: You both have amazing collections of things. I like it against that color, nice placement. It looks like it's just sittin' around with the plants and rapping...More wonderful fun from your home... (Ugh, I just got called away. I just started in your gallery! I'll be back her by the end of the day for sure: The thumbnails alone look wonderful. Happy First Day of Spring, our resident spirit! Catch you later...)
