Look at the one in the left front...strutting her stuff. Everything functions on my computer with one exception...YouTube keeps saying I either have Java Scripts turned off or I need a new Flash Player. Got the latest flash player...now am trying to figure out how to check Java Scripts...but most of the Beach Boys music pops right up when I think about it. Great image here.

A wonderful capture. Where is that dark grey sand? I love the stripes made by sand, sea water and froth

I thought of the music too—I can see why you spent time on the title. (You know, one of the great things about ebots—they're not exactly a fun entity—are seeing what new titles you'll come up with each day. It took a minute with this one, until I saw the 'attitude' of these birds...) I agree with Bill, one of them is strutting her stuff. You're gonna laugh, I thought these were pigeons at first. I know nothing, Marilyn, I'm pitifully ignorant of the animal kingdom. (Now I'll get 8 million emails from gulls. Hey: No pigeonism! They're noble birds even if they do have some slovenly habits...) It's a good shot too: Your waves look luscious, and you've given a nice division between waves, smooth water and beach. Very nice work. "Well boys & gulls, I gotta fly!" Nice work once more. (And I'm caught up! Always a pleasure to take in a bunch of your pieces all at once...)

Superlative capture of the taciturn birds meandering about the beach, but they sure don't look like any California seagulls I've ever seen. The ones I've encountered over the decades are almost completely white with textures of broad smooth grey in their feathers, whereas the gulls above are essentially dark with multitextured patterns in their feathers. Oh, did I mention neat foam effects in the waves at the top of the pic?
