I would like to be the first to wish Mark (anahata.c) a very Happy Birthday!!
I am up late having just finished the Passion Play performance where I run the main light board. In fact, this image was taken at one of the rehearsals because I am never too busy to click the shutter! This is a big year for Mark so I thought I would use this historic setting from the theater world. I hope your birthday/Spring is the best this year. You posted this before midnight (our time) and I just got this ebot six minutes ago! I think it timed itself to greet me when I awoke: I'm serious! It hung out in cyberspace, muttering, "is this guy ever gonna wake up???" Jodie, you know I can't find words for what your friendship has meant to me and the joy it's given me; and you know how much I love your art; so to have both in one gift—and connected to ancient Jerusalem and all those ancient Hebrews & early Christians taking time out from their activities to remember me? What could be better! And you know what I feel about your theater images (have I written it enough times? the clarity? the glow? etc etc) The image is beautiful, it's theater & life at the same time, and I always thought you just 'felt' those images, like they sought you—not you them...Yes it's a big year, I know you understand that—we're kind of parallel in that. And thank you so very much for doing this for me—I treasure this and you, oh minnesota star (as in luminous orb), and thank you from the bottom of my heart. With much gratitude and tons of joy, this is just wonderful. Huge hugs and thank you's from the bottom of my heart... (And I'm pretty sure "hold on a sec" was big in Early Christian Jerusalem...)
