Happy Birthday, Mark!! I cleaned up the patio, dusted off the chairs and made the tikis behave themselves. Have a seat, and we'll have cake and ice cream. I've invited all your best friends from Renderosity, there will be games and party favors, silly hats, and a whole lot of fun!! You've given so much of yourself in your work, your art, your comments~~~~the least we can do is give you a birthday party!! So~~~ come on over, make a wish, and blow out those candles---if you can!! marilyn

Oh Marilyn! I was up when you posted this, but the ebot didn't come until now! Third time today—but I think it waited for me to wake up...Marilyn, I can't think of any party, any gathering, any get-together with friends that would be greater than to sit at your place amongst all your amazing belongings, plants & flowers & masks & tikis & remembrances & weavings & bowling balls & wild boots & all the pieces of your inner magic, and have your company along with that of the people you cherish (who I get a feeling are as inspired and terrific as you). I love that patio (god those stones: even the stones are great; and is that a little surf-board in the back???) I'm honored you dusted off the chairs—though don't move too much because the magic of your place is all the stuff that's in it. Having your friendship and your amazing spirit has been a wondrous gift ever since you found my gallery: Thank you so much for this, it's a party even if I'm not there, because you're a party, period...I thank you from the bottom of my heart. (And I'm pretty sure that marlin/fish is smiling. Right? Smiling? Come on, smirking a little? Maybe a touch of irony? Maybe he doesn't like Schwarznegger? Something???) Thanks so much for this. It's just wonderful.

Mark is going to be exhausted by the time he completely replies to all these delightful birthday dedications he's receiving on his special day. You are very thoughtful cleaning up your patio, leaving it all spic and span, M. Me thinks you cleverly blended in the fish, tikis and fence with the patio floor in this one.
