Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Ha, I love the title. Oh, and the photo isn't half bad either:-)))

Wonderful texture to that leaf with bold striping on the dark green.

LOL, with pictures like this, you don't have to worry about titles! This is a big bold shot, the boldest bamboo I've ever seen. Sweeps right across the shot, and the light behind, and the red of the branches are great accents. Love this. Whoosh! Bamboo right in our face! It's lit up!

Bamboozled? I haven't heard or read that word in decades. Superb closeup of what appears to be some kind of plant alien to my eyes, which is no surprise. In any event, terrific lighting effects emphasize the textures in this shot, Maz.

I love that word and the pun that it has become! Great shot here, fantastic colors and details. I love the smaller details you've caught here. Great POV as well...it's nice and close, just the way I like 'em in pictures like this.

Very nice variegation in the leaves. After coming up with 1000+ titles, I wouldn't worry about it. Dana P
