I like this. The color is brilliant and has that full-sense quality to it; it's like I can smell lemon zest just from this picture alone. The light is superb, and I love the fact that you left the lemon as-is so to speak, without attempting to buff the skin. This is very well seen, and the yello/green play is superb.

When life gives you lemons, make gin and tonic :) Only just got back online after a whole week without, somebody stole all the copper cables from under the ground, LOL! and it took them a whole week to fix it all :(

There's a famous surrealistic painting by Magritte, "The Listening Room" (here). A big piece of fruit overtaking an innocent little room...and the only way I could interpret it was that when something takes up that much space, it eats up all the sound too. Or maybe its hugeness is like sound-made-visible (it fills the air)...That's what your picture reminds me of: a big bold lemon filling all the space and pressing on our eardrums. A lot of fun, Marilyn, and the title says "if ya can't beat 'm, join 'm!" Good spirit on this piece, and fun too.
