My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Neat shot. Soon the gold and red will be turning to green once again. This is a sight rarely seen anymore, anywhere since the advent of the 1200-1500 pound hay rolls. Looks like the Lopez Islanders can still do it their way and that is good for them. In this case, hooray for the old way:)

Beautiful! Our barns are often open-sided for air flow.

I am from such a place. But here we use a very different material. I live near by large paddy feilds( India, Kerala). Huts are common here. I shall post some of them next week. Good shot. I enjoyed this.
